Sintered Silicon carbide Ceramic is produced from high purity nano-sized SiC powder with non-oxide sintering aids. Conventional ceramic forming processes are used and the material is sintered in an inert atmosphere at temperatures up to 2100 degree or higher.
The advantage for SSIC is higher using temperature,higher density than sisic(density is 40% of steel),higher bending strength,low thermal expansion coefficient,higher thermal conductivity,higher Vickers Hardness,high corrision resistance.also sintered silicon carbide ceramic has excellent thermal shock resistance and can be used for a long time in the oxidation atmosphere of 1650 ℃
Applications for SSIC is such as seals ring in chemical pumps,Bearing,Bushing,machined parts,shaft sleeve,semiconductor substrate and so on
